A Letter of Acceptance is issued by a Canadian College having a DLI status. This letter is generally issued after the student has met the admission requirements and entered into an environment contract with the college.

Students can establish acceptance to a course or program of study by showing officers an original letter of acceptance (or a scanned copy if the applicant is applying through e-Apps) from the DLI that they will be attending.

LOA is a mandatory requirement to apply for a study visa or permit.
