Bridge Training Program Disclaimer

1. Regulatory Status

“This program does not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.”

CCEC is registered as a career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. Bridge training programs are designed to help internationally trained individuals in regulated occupations understand Canadian standards and prepare for the licensing process in their profession. They are not approved vocational diploma programs.

2. Licensing and Registration

No program covered by this disclaimer grants a licence, a certificate of registration, or any other authorization to practise a regulated profession in Canada. These programs are not required or approved by any regulatory body as a condition of registration or licensing in any province or territory.

Each student is responsible for confirming the current requirements of the regulatory body that applies to their profession and province.

3. Nature of the Credential

On successful completion of all subjects and payment of all fees, CCEC issues a certificate of completion. This is a private educational credential issued by CCEC. It is not a degree, a diploma, a licence, or a certification from a regulatory body.

4. Examination Preparation

Where a program includes examination preparation, course content is based on publicly available syllabi and standards at the time of delivery. CCEC is not affiliated with any examining or regulatory body and does not guarantee that a student will pass any licensing or qualifying examination.

5. Tuition and Fees

• Tuition does not include textbooks, the LOA fee, or the international student fee (CAD $1,000, where applicable).
• Tuition may be paid in instalments. See Student Loans and Financial Aid.
• Refunds are governed by the College Refund Policy.

6. International Applicants

• These programs run six months or less. A study permit and a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) are not required.
• Completion does not qualify a student for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) and does not support any application for a study permit, work permit, or permanent residence.
• Students in Canada are responsible for holding valid immigration status that allows short-term study.

7. Delivery and Attendance

Programs are delivered full time in English, either in person at the Vaughan campus or online through the College learning management system (LMS). In-person attendance requirements are set out in the course syllabus. Online students must meet the College System Requirements. Each module or subject ends with an online multiple-choice examination and assignments, with a pass mark of 60%.

8. Employment

CCEC does not guarantee licensure, registration, employment, or salary outcomes. Results depend on each student’s credentials, experience, examination performance, and the requirements of regulators and employers.
