This license will assist you to practice as an MLT in Ontario (and other regulated Canadian jurisdictions), graduates of the program must, in addition to completion of the CSMLS certification exam, meet the standards set by the ***College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario, including obtaining a criminal record and judicial matters or vulnerable sector check. Examples of Occupational Titles
Medical laboratory technologists conduct medical laboratory tests, experiments and analyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of disease. They are employed in medical laboratories in hospitals, blood banks, community and private clinics, research facilities and post-secondary educational institutions.
