How to Apply for OSAP

Who Is Eligible?

• Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons;
• Ontario residents; and
• students in an OSAP-approved program at an OSAP-approved school.

International students are not eligible. For full details, see Ontario: learn about OSAP.

Step 1: College Admission (2 to 3 Business Days)

• For OSAP, you need to know whether you are a full-time or part-time student. The CCEC admissions team assesses this for free.
• Apply for admission. You receive an admission assessment and a student number, with your eligibility, fees, and other details. There is no fee for this assessment.
• If you agree with the assessment and meet all requirements, you can enrol and receive an enrolment contract. The admission application confirmation fee is CAD $250. It is refundable if your OSAP or other funding is not approved.

Step 2: Apply for OSAP (4 to 6 Weeks)

1. Read Ontario: how to apply for OSAP.
2. Apply online through the OSAP website.
3. In the school search, look for Canadian Career Education College under other colleges, and choose the program named in your admission offer.

After You Apply

1. Complete and submit the online OSAP application.
2. Print the signature forms and make sure every signature is included.
3. Attach any other required documents to the signature forms.
4. Upload the signed forms and supporting documents to your OSAP account.
5. Submit your Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA).
6. Complete a Student Financial Profile, if asked.
7. Check your application status.
