Exams and assessments:
● Regardless of your selected format, all written exams are 100% online and open-book.

Regulatory Status:
Canadian Career Education College (operating as Can College) is registered as a private career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. However, as a short-duration professional development certificate, the Professional Certificate in Construction Project Coordination is designed to help individuals upgrade their skills and transition into the construction industry. "These programs do not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005." This program is an educational certificate and is not required or approved to qualify for registration with a regulatory body (such as the Project Management Institute or the Canadian Construction Association) for professional licensing.
For International Applicants:
Immigration Status: This program does not require a formal Study Permit or Student Visa due to its service type, duration (under 6 months), and structure.
Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL): A Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) is not required to study in this program.
Note: Completion of this short-term certificate does not qualify international students for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) in Canada. Applicants are responsible for ensuring their current visa or visitor status allows for short-term study.

Format & Attendance:
In-Class (Vaughan Campus): Attendance requirements are outlined in the course syllabus. Failure to adhere to minimum attendance policies may affect certification.
Online/Distance Learning: Students are responsible for maintaining their own self-study schedules. Once the online program materials are delivered, Can College is not responsible for the student's further educational activity regarding time management.

If a prospective student does not have a grade 12 education certificate
which is equivalent to a Canadian secondary school certificate due to
any reason, the college will still consider the student for admission to
its programs if the student passes a qualifying test that has been
approved by the Superintendent (The Ministry of Training, Colleges and
Universities Ontario).
What qualifies you as a mature student?
“Mature Student Test” or “Mature Student Assessment”
Mature student status may be granted to applicants who are over 19 years old and do not have a high school diploma or GED. It is intended to allow applicants who have not completed high school the opportunity to be considered for admission based on the skills and experience they have acquired since leaving school.
