Online mock exams for Part I (multiple choice) of the PEBC Qualifying Examination, for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in every province outside Quebec. Each exam has a timed diagnostic, area quizzes and a calculations quiz with an explanation for every answer, and four full-length timed mock exams built to the PEBC 2026 blueprint. 100% online and self-paced: no lectures and no scheduled sessions. Full Access and the Pharmacy Combo come with the CCEC guarantee: if you do not pass the official exam on your first attempt, you get one further access period at no charge (see Guarantee).
The PEBC exam is the same in every province, so all provinces use one registration page. Choose your province on the registration form so we can follow your regulator's requirements. Start with the free diagnostic if you want to see where you stand first.

Regulator: New Brunswick College of Pharmacists (NBCP)
Regulator: Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator (NSPR)

Quebec is not covered (Quebec does not require the PEBC exams). Territories: choose Other as your jurisdiction on the form, or ask us through the support form.
The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) runs the national Qualifying Examination. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians each write two parts: Part I (multiple choice, computer-based) and Part II (in-person OSCE for pharmacists, OSPE for technicians). Your provincial regulator then sets its own requirements, often including a jurisprudence exam.
| Exam | Who writes it | Official format | CCEC mock exam |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pharmacist Qualifying Exam Part I | Graduates of a CCAPP-accredited pharmacy degree (or final-year students), and international graduates with a valid PEBC Document Evaluation | 200 questions (150 scored, 50 pretest), 260 minutes, Prometric test centre or remote | 200 questions in 260 minutes |
| Pharmacy Technician Qualifying Exam Part I | Graduates of a CCAPP-accredited technician program (or students before graduation), international technician graduates found eligible by PEBC, and holders of a valid PEBC Pharmacist Document Evaluation | 150 questions (120 scored, 30 pretest), two sections of 100 minutes | 150 questions in 200 minutes |
Part II (OSCE and OSPE) is performance-based and is not covered by these mock exams. PEBC decides eligibility to write. PEBC offered its last Pharmacist Evaluating Examination in October 2026. Quebec (OPQ) does not require the PEBC exams and is not covered here. Facts checked on PEBC pages, 1 and 2 November 2026.
Because the PEBC Qualifying Examination is national, you do not need to write it again to move to another province. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians licensed in one province can apply to another under labour mobility rules, but each regulator sets its own steps, usually a letter of standing from your current regulator and often its own jurisprudence exam.
Reciprocity applies to a full licence you already hold. It does not replace the PEBC exam for a first licence.
Everything runs in your browser, on your own schedule. No classes to attend and no travel. Your access email brings your link and code, and you can start the same day you are approved.
Each mock exam follows the PEBC 2026 blueprint for your exam, with the same number of questions, the same time limit and the same mix of competency areas. All questions are original CCEC questions written to the blueprint; they are not real exam questions.
Full Access and the Pharmacy Combo carry the CCEC guarantee: if you do not pass the official exam on your first attempt, you get one further access period, until your new exam date, at no charge. See Guarantee.
CAD 29 buys a diagnostic, six area quizzes and a calculations quiz with explanations, and four full-length timed mock exams with four attempts each. CAD 49 adds eight attempts per mock, access to your exam date and the guarantee. CAD 89 covers both exams.

CCEC Standard Access gives you four full-length timed mocks, a diagnostic and every quiz for CAD 29.

Eligibility follows PEBC's requirements for the exam you select. To register you confirm that you:
PEBC decides whether and when you can write the official exam. Licensing requirements in your province are set by your pharmacy regulator, not by CCEC. These mock exams are separate from CCEC's Pharmacist Licensing Study Certificate and Pharmacy Assistants Study Certificate programs.
Choose your exam and access type and complete the form, including your province and the eligibility declaration. Pay online where a fee applies. Then upload a copy of your government photo ID and proof of your PEBC exam eligibility or booking using the Mock exam document upload form (the link is in your registration confirmation email), with the same email address you registered with, within 3 days (72 hours). With the Pharmacy Combo, upload PEBC eligibility or booking proof for either one of the two exams. An unpaid registration is cancelled automatically after 15 minutes; you can register again at any time.
Your details and documents are checked against the eligibility requirements, usually within a few hours if everything is in order. If our Admissions team needs anything else, you are told exactly what to send and by when. If not approved, you are told why and any fee paid is refunded in full by the same payment method within 2 to 3 business days.
Your access email brings the link to your mock exam pages, your access code and your access end date. Log in to the College learning portal and start with the diagnostic.
Work through the area quizzes and the calculations quiz for your weakest areas, then sit the mock exams under exam conditions. Your result shows on screen as soon as you finish each test. Online students must meet the College System Requirements.
Exam details on this page were checked on PEBC and regulator pages on 1 and 2 November 2026. Always confirm current exam rules, fees and dates with PEBC and your regulator.
Eligibility follows the published requirements of the regulator or examining body for the exam you select. Every registration is assessed using the details, photo ID and exam booking or eligibility proof you submit. A free registration with missing details is cancelled and you may register again with complete details. A paid registration with missing details is held and you are told exactly what to send; if nothing is received within 3 days (72 hours) the registration is not approved.
If a paid registration is not approved, the fee is refunded in full by the same payment method within 2 to 3 business days. Once access has been granted, fees are non-refundable. Free Diagnostic Access has no fee. Fees for the official exams are paid to the exam provider or regulator, not to CCEC.
Free Diagnostic Access runs for one week from approval. Standard Access runs for 30 days from approval, or until your exam date if that comes first. Full Access and the Pharmacy Combo run from approval until your exam date.
Each diagnostic allows one attempt. Area quizzes and the calculations quiz can be repeated as often as you like during your access period. Each mock exam allows four attempts with Standard Access and eight with Full Access. Every quiz answer has an explanation, and your score with a breakdown by competency area is shown on screen as soon as you finish each test.
Your access code and access pages are issued to the person named at registration and work only with the email address you registered with. One registration per person per option; a different option is a new registration on the same event page.
Results are mock exam results from CCEC's own question bank. They are not recognized by, or reported to, any regulator or examining body. Completing a mock exam course does not qualify you for registration or a licence.
Questions about registration, access or results go through the support form; please allow 24 to 48 business hours for a response. College email comes only from @ccecollege.online, @ccecollege.com, or @cancollege.online.
The CCEC guarantee applies to Full Access and the Pharmacy Combo. If you do not pass the official exam on your first attempt, you can have one further access period to the same option, until your new exam date, at no charge. Send your official result notice and your new exam date through the support form. This is not a cash refund, and CCEC does not guarantee an exam result.
