Skilled Trade CPD Programs
Single continuing professional development (CPD) courses for trades professionals, technicians, and informed property owners. Each course is 40 hours, completed in 2 to 4 weeks, and costs $390.

IoT networks, energy management, and AI tools for predictive maintenance and fault detection in buildings.
The Modern Electrician: AI-Enhanced CPD and Trade Essentials
Electrical code updates combined with AI-assisted diagnostic, estimating, and project management tools.
How CPD Courses Work
- Length: 40 hours, completed in 2 to 4 weeks
- Tuition: $390 per course
- Credential: Certificate of Completion
- Delivery: 100% online or in person at the Vaughan campus
- Application deadline: at least 30 days before the start date

Important Information
- This program does not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
- Canadian Career Education College (CCEC) is registered as a career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. These are short professional development programs for skill upgrading and career transition. They do not qualify a graduate for registration with a regulatory body or for professional licensing.
- International applicants do not need a study permit or a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) for these programs, which run less than six months. Completion does not qualify a student for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Applicants are responsible for making sure their status allows short-term study in Canada.
- CCEC does not guarantee employment, job placement, or salary. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission.
- In-person students must meet the attendance requirements in the course syllabus. Not meeting them may result in the certificate being withheld. Online students manage their own study schedule once course materials are released.
