Five-module professional certificates in the skilled trades and construction. Take one module at a time as continuing professional development (CPD), or complete all five modules as a bundle.

Electrical Technician Professional Certificate
Electrical theory, Ontario Electrical Safety Code knowledge, and practical wiring skills for work as an assistant to licensed electricians.
Professional Certificate in AI-Enhanced Home Inspection
Core home inspection skills with AI-assisted reporting, thermal imaging, and smart home diagnostics.
Professional Certificate in Architectural Drafting
CAD, BIM, AI-assisted drafting, and Ontario building permit requirements.
Professional Certificate in Construction Project Coordination
Estimating, scheduling, contract administration, site safety, and project documentation.
Professional Certificate in Smart Homes and Buildings Ecosystems
IoT networks, building automation, security and lighting systems, energy management, and smart home platforms.
How the Modules Work
- Structure: five modules per program
- Module length: 15 to 40 hours, completed in 2 to 4 weeks
- Tuition: $390 per module under the Pay As You Learn Fee Structure, or all modules as a bundle (see each program page)
- Credential: a Certificate of Completion for each module; completing all five modules leads to the program certificate
- Delivery: 100% online or in person at the Vaughan campus
- Application deadline: at least 30 days before the start date
- No maximum age limit

Important Information
- This program does not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
- Canadian Career Education College (CCEC) is registered as a career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. These are short professional development programs for skill upgrading and career transition. They do not qualify a graduate for registration with a regulatory body or for professional licensing.
- International applicants do not need a study permit or a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) for these programs, which run less than six months. Completion does not qualify a student for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Applicants are responsible for making sure their status allows short-term study in Canada.
- CCEC does not guarantee employment, job placement, or salary. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission.
- In-person students must meet the attendance requirements in the course syllabus. Not meeting them may result in the certificate being withheld. Online students manage their own study schedule once course materials are released.
