Access to mock exams for the Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP) exam, Common Law version (every province and territory except Quebec). All four modules, built to the official format and the CISRO weights, with an explanation for every answer. 100% online and self-paced. No lectures, no scheduled sessions: register, get assessed, and take the mock exams online before your exam.
A timed diagnostic for each module (15 questions; Ethics 10) gives you a score for each CISRO competency area. Free.
Competency quizzes of 10 questions, one for each CISRO competency, with an explanation for every answer. Untimed, unlimited attempts.
Four full-length mock exams per module, each a different set of questions, with the official number of questions, time limit and 60% pass mark. Four attempts each, with the questions in a new order every time.
Results by email after every test, broken down by competency area, with a readiness guide.
Why 520 and not 1,000+? Some exam prep products advertise 500 to 1,000 or more questions. More questions is not the same as better preparation. Every CCEC question is original, written as a client scenario in the style of CISRO's published examples, and used where it helps most: in a diagnostic, a competency quiz or a full-length mock exam.
The LLQP is the qualification for a life insurance licence in Canada. Its curriculum and exam content are set by CISRO (the Canadian Insurance Services Regulatory Organizations). The exam has four modules: Life Insurance; Accident and Sickness Insurance; Segregated Funds and Annuities; and Ethics and Professional Practice (Common Law version outside Quebec). Life Insurance, Accident and Sickness, and Segregated Funds and Annuities have 35 multiple-choice questions each; Ethics has 25. Each module allows 75 minutes, and the pass mark is 60% on each module. All four modules must be passed for a life licence.
To write the exam you need the certificate of completion of the LLQP prerequisite course and its course exam, taken with a provider approved by your insurance regulator. In Ontario the exam is administered by Durham College and the licence is issued by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA). FSRA states that after a failed attempt you may write three supplemental exams, at least 24 hours apart; after a fourth failed attempt you must wait one year and retake the prerequisite course. This course covers the Common Law version only. Quebec candidates (Civil Code Ethics) are not covered.
Exam facts above were read from the FSRA website and the CISRO LLQP curriculum in October 2026. Always confirm current exam rules, fees and delivery options with your provincial or territorial insurance regulator and its exam administrator (in Ontario, Durham College).

Find out where you stand in each module before you pay for anything.
Five options on one registration page. A single module runs for 30 days from approval, or until your exam date if that comes first. The All 4 Modules Bundle runs from approval until your exam date.
The eligibility standard follows the rule for writing the official LLQP exam. To register you confirm that you:
This course is access to mock exams only. It is not the LLQP prerequisite course and does not replace it. Applicants from any country are welcome. This is a short online course: a study permit is not required, and completion does not qualify you for a Post-Graduation Work Permit.
Choose Free Diagnostic Access, a module, or the All 4 Modules Bundle, complete the form including the eligibility declaration and your CIPR number, and pay online where a fee applies. Then upload a copy of your government photo ID, your LLQP course completion certificate and proof of your LLQP exam registration using the Mock exam document upload form (the link is in your registration confirmation email), with the same email address you registered with, within 3 days. The link is also on the registration form. An unpaid registration is cancelled automatically after 15 minutes; you can register again at any time.
Your details and documents are checked against the eligibility requirements, usually within a few hours if everything is in order. You receive an email as soon as your documents arrive. If our Admissions team needs anything else, you are told exactly what to send and by when. If no documents arrive within 1 hour of registering, you receive one reminder. If not approved, you are told why and any fee paid is refunded in full by the same payment method within 2 to 3 business days.
Your access email brings the link to your mock exam pages, your access code and your access end date. Log in to the College learning portal and start with the diagnostic.
Work through the competency quizzes, then sit the mock exams under exam conditions. Results arrive by email after every test. Online students must meet the College System Requirements.
Fees, refunds and access periods are set out in the Mock Exam Policies below.
Eligibility follows the licensing body's published requirements for the exam you select. Every registration is assessed against them using the details, photo ID and exam registration proof you submit (for LLQP, also your course completion certificate). A free registration with missing details is cancelled and you may register again with complete details. A paid registration with missing details is held and you are told exactly what to send; if nothing is received within 3 business days the registration is not approved. If your documents are not received within 3 days of registering, a free registration is cancelled and you may register again; for a paid registration, our team will contact you.
If a paid registration is not approved, the fee is refunded in full by the same payment method within 2 to 3 business days. Once access has been granted, fees are non-refundable. Free Diagnostic Access has no fee.
A single LLQP module runs for 30 days from approval, or until your exam date if that comes first. The All 4 Modules Bundle runs until your exam date. Free Diagnostic Access runs for one week from approval. Your exam date is taken from your exam registration proof. If your exam date moves, send the new date through the support form before your access ends. After the end date the access pages close; to continue, register again for the option you need.
Each diagnostic allows one attempt. Competency quizzes can be repeated as often as you like during your access period. Each mock exam allows four attempts. Every answer has an explanation, and your score with a breakdown by competency area is emailed after every test.
Your access code and access pages are issued to the person named at registration and work only with the email address you registered with. One registration per person per event; a different option is a new registration on the same event page.
Results are emailed after each test with a breakdown by competency area. They are mock exam results from CCEC's own question bank and are not recognized by, or reported to, any licensing or examining body. Completing a mock exam course does not qualify you for a licence.
