Ms. Leslie Jansson

Instructor and Educator at CCEC
1-905-499-3631

I have been trained in a range of modalities including Discrete Trial Training, Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Skills Training, Crisis Intervention Training as well as specializing in the Lovass Model of teaching children, youth and young adults with ASD.

I have extensive experience working directly with children, youth and young adults who have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD and global developmental delay, providing service in clinical, residential and school-based settings in both 1:1 as well as in groups.

My passion and dedication in the field of ABA has lead me to become an advocate not only for children and youth on the ASD spectrum but to support and educate families in reaching their goals.

I believe that a comprehensive approach from multiple disciplines is required to reach overall well-being in individuals faced with various exceptionalities.

My educational background includes an MA in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the University of North Texas. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in psychology from the University of Victoria and a Graduate Certificate in Inclusive Education (Special Education) from Vancouver Island University.
