Admission Offer and Acceptance

The Admission Offer

• The process begins when you apply for admission and receive an offer for a program. The admission offer is not an LOA or a contract.
• You have 30 days to review and accept the offer and to meet any conditions in it.
• With the offer you may receive the enrolment contract by separate email, and an invoice for the LOA and admission processing fee, or for the MSA test fee if it applies. Sign the enrolment contract and return it through the secure link.
• Check your inbox and spam folder for the offer letter and enrolment contract.

Admission and LOA Processing Fee

The CCEC admission and LOA processing fee ranges from CAD $250 to $500. The fee covers:

• Once the fee is received and applied to your account, you receive the final documents to apply for a study permit, if applicable. Instructions come by email.
• The admission processing fee is generally non-refundable. The admission processing or LOA fee for Short Study and Bridge Training programs is non-refundable.
• Refunds of tuition follow the Refund Policy, including refunds related to study permit refusals and the Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL).
• Payment methods are listed on How to Pay Tuition Fees and Dues. All payments are in Canadian dollars.

Accepting the Offer

You do not need to reply by email. Paying the LOA fee, or the MSA test fee if it applies, confirms that you accept the offer and allows the College to finalize your admission and issue an official Letter of Acceptance.

Changes to Program, Dates, Name, or Date of Birth

• Requests to change the program or start date can be considered after the LOA fee is paid. Send the request by email after payment.
• If your name or date of birth is wrong, you can correct it after paying the LOA fee and before the final LOA is issued. The College matches this information with your passport. Only first and last names are required on the LOA.

Mature Student Assessment (MSA) Condition

• If your offer has an MSA test condition, you receive two invoices: one for the LOA and one for the MSA test. The MSA test fee is not an LOA fee.
• You must pass the MSA test before the admission process continues. You may pay both fees at the same time to avoid delay after you pass.
• The MSA test is not waived unless you provide an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from a designated organization. See Mature Student Status.

Offer Expiry

• If the offer expires before you meet its conditions or pay the LOA processing fee, it becomes void.
• If you paid the fees within 10 days after the expiry date, the offer may be reinstated for processing, or you may request a refund under the Refund Policy.
• After an offer expires, you may apply again. The admissions officer makes a new decision based on seat availability at that time.
